Man in hospital after a car crash near St George

A BOLLON man has been admitted to hospital following a single vehicle crash early this morning.

A BOLLON man has been admitted to hospital with suspected spinal injuries following a single vehicle car crash east of St George.

The man had been towing a trailer on the Moonie Hwy early this morning when he swerved to avoid two sheep, causing the vehicle to jackknife.

St George Police, paramedics and fire authorities were called to the scene at around 1am.

The man, who is described as being in his late 50's, was later admitted to the St George Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

An investigation into the incident is continuing.
