BREAKING: Car, caravan crash

A CAR and caravan have been involved in a rollover, south of St George.

The first call to emergency services was made shortly before 2pm. Paramedics and police rushed to a stretch of road 7km south on the St George Dirranbandi Road.

It is understood a four-wheel drive towing a caravan veered off the road, before it flipped over.

A small boat on top of the car also flipped, as did the caravan.

A male was assessed on the scene, with some cuts and abrasions. A female was also assessed on the scene, presenting arm lacerations.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman told The Balonne Beacon the incident was ongoing after they received the call at 1.51pm.

More to come.
