Charleville house fire investigated

TWO FIRE crews were called to a home in Charleville yesterday afternoon, after a Wills St residence caught alight about 3pm.

Firefighters had extinguished most of the blaze by 4.15pm, with crews remaining on scene to contain spot fires.

Police officers from the Charleville CIB also attended the home, and mounted an investigation overnight.

A police spokeswoman said the CIB determined that the fire originated in the kitchen, and deemed it non-suspicious.
