OVER 150 children from St George State School came together last Wednesday for breakfast to celebrate another successful cycle of the Academic Success Guarantee (ASG) program.
“The aim of the program is to see the kids improve, regardless of where they started,” acting principal Andrea Killen said.
“Teachers have very regular updates with the children and with parents to ensure they are reaching their potential.
“The program is about meeting and beating students year level benchmarks.”
“The program is really great, it allows Mack (my child) to continue his love of reading. We receive reports every five weeks and it allows parents, to know whether our children are improving with the extra resources,” mum Eloise said.
