Melbourne Storm forward Jesse Bromwich facing biting charge

STAR Melbourne Storm prop Jesse Bromwich could be out for the rest of the season if he is found guilty of biting.

In 2012, Canterbury prop James Graham was handed a record 12-match suspension for biting Melbourne's Billy Slater in the grand final. Wests Tigers lock Martin Taupau faces a minimum of three weeks out after being slapped with a grade three dangerous contact charge for his hit on James Maloney in Friday night's match.

Broncos prop Adam Blair will miss two weeks with an early guilty plea for his shoulder charge on Titans halfback Kane Elgey, while Bulldogs utility Josh Reynolds will miss a match with an early plea for his challenge on Valentine Holmes.

Reynolds injured his knee in the match and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
