Striking citing puts Michael Hooper in doubt for decider

WALLABIES flanker Michael Hooper will find out tomorrow whether he can take his place in the Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship decider against the All Blacks in Sydney next Saturday night.

The former captain was booked for striking Pumas fly-half Nicolas Sanchez in the second half of Australia's 34-9 win against Argentina in Mendoza at the weekend.

Meanwhile, enigmatic Wallabies playmaker Quade Cooper has apologised for an expletive-laden tweet.

Hours after beating the Pumas, a match that saw Cooper start on the bench, Cooper tweeted: "Invite me to you're (sic) next team discussion then ask me how much I give a f*** about your team selection? Zero f***s given".

Cooper said the post was directed at a New Zealand journalist, who directed some scathing criticism at Cooper, calling him a "nutty No.10", and saying he would "lose more games than he wins for the Wallabies".
