Trent rises to meet challenge

TRENT Challenger is on a journey of a lifetime, as he takes his 1917 Model T Ford to Cameron Corner and back.

Trent is travelling with the Model A and T clubs from Queensland and New South Wales.

The St George Bakery owner made it to his destination on Tuesday - not before narrowly avoiding a few emus - driving to the intersection of Queensland, South Australia and New South Wales, before preparing to make his return.

Trent's wife and co-owner of the St George Bakery said Trent's love for cars knows no boundaries.

"He loves cars and always has - he owns plenty of them,” she said.

"His first love his for his Fords and now he's really into Model T's and Hi-luxes.

"He'll always make sure that the tyre pressures are right and that the engines are working and does most of the maintenance by himself.”
